SPECIAL SERVICES IN THE CUSTOMS SECTOR
FOR CERTAIN EXPORTER COMPANIES
THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF CUSTOMS AND EXCISE,
Considering:
- a. that given the Instruction of the Minister of Finance No. 1/IMK.01/1996 dated June 4, 1996 on special services for certain exporter companies, it is deemed necessary to regulate the special services in the customs sector for certain exporter companies in an effort to give quick services;
- b. that the provision of special services for certain exporter companies needs to be laid down in a decision of the Director General of Customs and Excise.
In view of:
- a. Law No. 10/1995 on customs affairs (Statute Book of 1995 No. 75);
- b. Instruction of the Minister of Finance No. 1/IMK.01/1996 dated June 4, 1996 on special services for certain exporter companies.
DECIDES:
To stipulate:
THE DECISION OF THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF CUSTOMS AND EXCISE CONCERNING SPECIAL SERVICES IN THE CUSTOMS SECTOR FOR CERTAIN EXPORTER COMPANIES.
Article 1
Referred to in this decision as certain exporter companies shall be exporter companies granted special services in the customs and taxation sectors as included in the list issued by the Minister of Industry and Trade.
Article 2
Certain exporter companies as meant in Article 1 shall be granted special services in the customs sector in the form of :
- 1. submitting PEB directly to the hangar officer at the port of loading without the prior service of a foreign exchange bank;
- 2. having their PEB stuck with a label bearing the words:
- Exemplary Exporter
- Instruction of the Minister of Finance No. 1/IMK.01/1996
- 3. having access to special counters to take care of PEB as meant in letter b;
- 4. having access to round-the-clock, services no matter whether it is holiday/Sunday.
Article 3
(1) The hanger officer shall examine documents in giving the special services as meant in Article 2 letter a.
(2) The implementation of this decision shall further be based on the existing customs provisions in the export sector.
(3) The special services in the customs sector as meant in this decision shall be given without reducing efforts to safeguard the state finance especially is the case of export goods with high risk.
Article 4
This decision shall be subject to amendment in the case of errors later on.
Article 5
This decision shall take effect as from the date of stipulation.
